Do you really want to be able to speak Dutch fluently? Then it is necessary to immerse yourself in Dutch for a longer period of time: speaking Dutch in school, speaking Dutch to your host family or with fellow students, looking for extracurricular activities where you can speak Dutch continuously (volunteer work, scouts, a student job during the weekend, …).

First and foremost, we offer you a course with 26 lessons per week. We also provide accommodation with a host family or in a student room with Dutch-speaking students. We can also help you find volunteer work (for students who stay here for 15 weeks or longer, this is free). The only thing you have to do yourself is to speak Dutch as much as possible in all situations.
The courses at Cosmocollege are completely different from those you may have experienced in a normal school. There are never more than 9 participants in a class and never more than 25 students in the school. We establish a personal program for each student. During tutorials, a teacher or coach will review progress and propose additional assignments. The teachers are dynamic, patient and they all have great experience in teaching Dutch as a foreign language.
The program includes 26 lessons per week: 20 general Dutch lessons and 6 ILL lessons.
Students registered for a course of 15 weeks or more, participate in the ILP program. They come into contact with the local population through different projects (e.g. volunteering) and thus can practice the language in realistic situations. (Optional).
One of the things that is typical about cosmocollege is the close contact between teachers and students. Each student is personally followed. We employ a maximum of 25 students per period and there are never more than 9 participants in a class (from 2018). Sometimes there are even classes with only 3 or 4 students.
TIP: If you want to be in a small group, you can register for the second semester (February-June). Then there are always fewer students.
Students from 18 years old are welcome in this course. 17-year-olds are admitted with a favorable advice from the study director and a written authorization from the parents.

A1+, A2, B1, B2
Students who do not have A1 + must take a preparatory course until they have reached this level.
